Not sure which mop you need? We can help.

First we need to determine what you want to clean:

Light Soil (Households, Hospital Patient Rooms)

  • Dust Mopping - Simple is better. Use our Microfiber Dust Mop Pads; since you’re not likely to be picking up much more than dust and hair (no larger debris) using a mop with fringe yarn or looped yarn is probably overkill. The face yarn on our regular dust mop pads is quite dense and has more than adequate capacity for light soil dusting.
  • Wet Mopping - Again, simple is better. Our Microfiber Wet Mop Pads are the standard for microfiber wet mopping. They don't have a huge capacity to store cleaning solution, but they do clean extremely well and they last hundreds of washings.

Medium Soil (Classrooms, Lobbies, Offices)

  • Dust Mopping - For medium soil dusting we recommend out Microfiber Dust Mop Pads with Fringe Yarn. They feature looped microfiber yarn sewn around the dust mop. This fringe yarn will pick up debris and things like bits of paper while the microfiber face yarn will pick up any dust that gets through.
  • Wet Mopping - For wet mopping medium soil areas you have your choice of Microfiber Wet Mop Pads or Premium Microfiber Wet Mop Pads. The Advantage of using the premium wet mop pads is they have more capacity to store liquid cleaning solution. If you find that you need more liquid to help emulsify dirt this will be the best option for you.

Heavy Soil (Grocery Stores, Warehouses, Industrial)

  • Dust Mopping - We have two good options, they both feature looped microfiber yarn but attach to different tools. Our Microfiber Looped Yarn Dust Mop Pad is made to use with the Flat Mop Tools like most of the other microfiber. Our Microfiber Looped Yarn Slot Packet Dust Mops are designed to use with traditional wire dust mop frames and clip on handles. There are applications where you still need a traditional cotton dust mop. For instance in our warehouse we can't use microfiber looped yarn dust mops because of all the splinters from pallets on the floor, we have to use cotton dust mops. Read more about that here.(Link)
  • Wet Mopping - If you want to use flat mops in a heavy soil area, your best bet is the Premium Microfiber Wet Mop Pads since they will store more liquid. If you want to use a more traditional type mop because you need to soak up spills or because that's what you or your staff is used to using we highly recommend our Microfiber Tube Mops.
